What sort of mystery review blog would this be without a page dedicated to the Queen of Crime? And she is the Queen, in my opinion, not one of four. From what I’ve read, Margery Allingham and Dorothy L Sayers certainly come close and also from what I’ve read, I genuinely have no idea why Ngaio Marsh is always included in that list. Christie is a cut above all of her contemporaries in my book – when she was on form (by no means all of the time), nobody could touch her. So here’s my bibliography of reviews. Note that I’ve only included the novels for Poirot and Miss Marple and for the other books, I’ve only linked to those that I’ve reviewed. There will be more to come.

Tommy and Tuppence Beresford
Others
There are five Tommy and Tuppence novels. Not great and sometimes confusing, but I like them.

I know, but I’m only itemising the unreviewed Poirot novels for the moment as those are the ones that I’m concentrating on.

,I must ask, how is your Poirot reviews going? I’ve seen some new reviews (Death in the Clouds) so i’m guessing this hasen’t been updated yet.

Death In the Clouds is the most recent. I’ll sort the link out – expect one about every 2 months

I believe the quartet named because 1) all women 2) highest sales amongst women authors.
Brand is better than the other three, but didn’t write as many books, came later, and was never as big a seller.
