With my usual impeccable timing, I’ve come across this community meme over at Mysteries In Paradise. I’m sure my regular readers have already come across it, but forgive me – I’m slow.
Each week, beginning Monday 10 January 2011, you have to write a blog post about crime fiction related to the letter of the week.
Your post MUST be related to either the first letter of a book’s title, the first letter of an author’s first name, or the first letter of the author’s surname.
So you see you have lots of choice.
You could write a review, or a bio of an author, so long as it fits the rules somehow.
I’ve missed A, B, C, D and E, but there are 21 letters left – can you guess what the next one is? There’s a clue here!
So apologies for anyone expecting an imminent Jeffrey Deaver review, as promised in the now-reading box. I need an F book, so I’ll take a recent recommendation from Tipping My Fedora and Ellery Queen’s The Finishing Stroke is coming your way very soon.
NB – if you want, I’ve done an Agatha Christie, Body on the Beach, Clutch of Constables, DVD Extras Include: Murder and an Ellery Queen novel recently, so I’ve been playing along, even without knowing…
Nicely done sir!
